SUBSTANCE: invention concerns higher nervous activity research, particularly research of higher behavior forms (rational and cognitive activities, insight learning etc.) of white laboratory rats in artificial instrumental environment. The device includes square box filled with quants - parallelepiped blocks. The box has electrode floor and transparent upper lid. A block has complex structure and includes two prism modules, which initially are rigidly linked. Outer walls of modules feature special drilled bores for fixation of various auxiliary devices.

EFFECT: possibility to designing various labyrinths and instrumental environment for orientation and exploration behavior research.
