FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device for small laboratory animals purposeful activity research includes a labyrinth and a control computer. The research labyrinth is equipped with electrified conductive flooring and optical stimuli, and is made with the starting compartment, equipped with a hinged transparent door and radial compartments. Radial compartments are formed opposite to the starting compartment at equal angles to each other, providing visual perception of any of the available optical stimuli placed in radial compartments. The number of radial compartments exceeds two. The control computer is configured to randomly select one of the radial compartments and issue a command to switch it to an optical stimulus, as well as commands to supply current to the electrified floors in the remaining radial compartments and to unlock the transparent door of the starting compartment.
EFFECT: reduced time of a conditioned reflex to avoid the punishment of in case of the right action.
