FIELD: medicine; obstetrics.
SUBSTANCE: uterus volume is defined by the formula V=V0+Vi, where V0 is an uterus volume defined by the formula for oblong ellipsoid, Vi=0.5236 (Di)3 is a volume of particular examined myoma nodes of various localisation, Di is their diameter, and malone dialdehyde in supernatant fluid from uterine cavity or menstrual blood. If the uterus volume exceeds 465 cm3 and malone dialdehyde value exceeds 1.21 nanomol, then a conclusion about fast growth of hysteromyoma can be made.
EFFECT: more simple and fast diagnostics.
