FIELD: items of personal use and for household.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of protection of human organs of hearing from the influence of superstrong impulse noises. The ear protector consists of a bowl and is equipped with an elastic sealing bead. The main throttling device is fixed in the bowl body and made in the form of a plate with through holes. The ratio between the plate thickness to the hole diameter is within the limits of 2.5 to 3.5, and the total square of the holes is about 1.0 to 1.4 from the square of the cross-section of the auditory passage. The internal volume of the ear protector has a partition with the additional throttling device with through holes. Holes axes of the throttling device do not coincide. The additional throttling device is equipped with a leaf-type damper.
EFFECT: high efficiency of protection from superstrong impulse noises with a simultaneous possibility of good perception of verbal instructions.
