METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF SENSORY HEARING DISTURBANCES, ACCOMPANIED BY SPEECH PERCEPTION DETERIORATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B5/12 A61N1/36

Abstract RU 2618164 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: 3 months after hearing improving surgery, at the stage of rehabilitation auditory training is carried out in the form of listening to an audio signal against a background noise, which is performed via 2-channel clinical audiometer headphone together with elektrotactile tongue stimulation by means of intraoral display. This useful audio signal and the noise, fed on the level 20 dB above the speech perception threshold is directed via two different channels of the 2-channel audiometer to one headphone to enable their simultaneous and ipsilateral presentation. Session length is 20 minutes, two treatments a day for 10 days, a break between sessions is 4-5 hours.

EFFECT: method provides acceleration of sensory hearing disturbancies treatment due to acoustic exposure at simultaneous elektrotactile tongue stimulation, which cause launch of compensatory and regenerative processes in the auditory system if its functions are violated.
