FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to thermalphysic measurements technique, namely to technique of heat leakage evaluation in cooled elements of environment radiation receivers in vitro and under production conditions. The technical result is achieved by that liquid nitrogen consumption G evaporating out from receiver cryostat well is measured with electronic flowmeter. Temperature of steam exhaust is measured within upper slice level of receiver cryostat well. Consumption to time ratio (G/t) is controlled. To calculate heat leakage q consumption value is taken at point of time tstab., when liquid nitrogen evaporation is stable, equal to tcrit.>tstab.≥tcrit.-20 [s], where tcrit. is time when abrupt decrease in controlled consumption is registered.
EFFECT: development of method of heat leakage measurement in IR-photodetectors providing efficiency and accuracy of measurement up to several tens mWt at various ambient temperatures.
