SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminarily setting chemical content and temperature of metal-slag-gas system; feeding initial materials and energy carriers; melting initial materials; determining current values of temperature and chemical content of metal, slag and gas; realizing steps of preliminary setting; determining current chemical content and temperature of metal-slag-gas system periodically in intervals 5- 90 s during the whole melting process; determining chemical content according to parameter of system state at using atoms and electrons as independent units of heat movement of metal and slag for calculation of said parameter while taking into account energy inequivalence of permutation of above mentioned units; determining temperature according to balance of supplied energy and enthalpy difference of initial materials and melting products; generating control stimula in the same intervals on base of optimization at least of one parameter of melting process.
