FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: act on the seeds of monocotyledonous or dicotyledonous plants with a low-frequency alternating magnetic field of low intensity for the stable increase in the mitotic activity of their meristem. The optimum modes of influence are a field with an induction of 25 mT in the range of frequencies of 1-6 Hz for a period of between an hour to several days. Under the influence of a magnetic field with large values of induction the time of influence can be reduced. Under smaller induction the time of influence increases. The germinating or quiescent seeds are subjected to the action. On the quiescent seeds are acted on not later than 3 days prior to their sprouting.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency.
