FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: billet is heated, then differential cooling of billet part that is equal to more than its half and installed diametrically opposite to molded nozzle is carried out down to temperature that is at least 1.5 times lower than the temperature of heated part of billet. Then transverse clamping of billet ends is carried out for preliminary molding of nozzle, openings are made, then repeated heating of billet is carried out and nozzle is flanged.
EFFECT: quality is increased at the account of intense metal extrusion into nozzle zone.
