FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of tee-off pipelines. Rectangular square workpiece is heated to temperature not lower than 700°C, forming cylindrical shell by billet bending, performing longitudinal weld joint, heating cylindrical billet to temperature of 500÷750°C, ovalisation of cylindrical billet and its heating to temperature of 900÷1000°C. Then differentiated stepped cooling of part of billet surface with weld joint is performed, transverse squeezing of billet with preliminary forming of bend without disruption of surface of billet. Performing hole in preformed branch, repeated heating of workpiece to temperature of 900÷1000°C and final crosswise squeezing of the workpiece with simultaneous tapping of the branch by the puncheon.
EFFECT: higher quality of tees.
