FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: removal is carried out precisely along the edges of glass plate by means of single rotating abrasive disc. Abrasive material of disc is selected based on condition of only slight cutting into edges of glass plate. The latter is installed on the adjacent surface or supporting surface of device that has transporting facility for linear displacement of multilayer glass plate on this surface or along it. The first rotating abrasive disc is installed stationary with the possibility of tangential contacting with circumferential surface of longitudinal edge of multilayer glass plate. Carriage is provided with the second abrasive disc arranged in the similar manner, which is intended for displacement perpendicularly to direction of glass plate transportation.
EFFECT: provides fast and economic removal of polymer film precisely at the edges of multilayer glass plate.
