FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: caterpillar vehicle incorporates two drive sections, frames linked with the platform by means of spherical bearing, drive engine linked via the clutch with the gearbox, branch box with locking differential, stabilising differential device, two reduction gears with the main gears of the tracks of both sections, track lengthwise swing elements, drives of track driving rollers. Every section incorporates two pairs of driven differential-dependent tracks. Drive sections are independent. The vehicle comprises the elements to turn the sections relative to the platform, elements of steering booster with actuator cylinders for the front and rear sections, elements of joining the pull winch with the rear section reduction gear, elements of joining the jet propeller with the rear section reduction gear. The medium wheels of the said sections are spring-loaded. Turn of only the front section, or only the rear section, or both sections at a time, is controlled by a disconnector.
EFFECT: higher maneuverability and cross-country capacity.
