FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns sugar production. The method involves removal of fiber from water, heating up to 85-90°C, clarification and sterilisation in a steriliser sedimentation tank. Prior to heating, the water is treated by ozone-air mix taken in the volume of 2-10 m3/m3 of water with ozone concentration of 15-20 g/m3 in the mix.
EFFECT: higher grade of microorganism elimination in treated water as compared to the existing method.
