SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and intended for reduction of water intrusion of mines, prevention of pollution of water bodies and streams by petroleum products in fractured formations with varied water penetration capacity. The method of protection of mining work against water intrusion and protection of water resources against pollution by petroleum products in fractured water bearing formations includes determination of water penetration capacity of formations and construction of a vertical injection sealing curtain that blocks the fractured massif vertically by drilling a curtain of injection wells along the route and injection of fixer into the fractured massif through these wells. A vertical injection sealing curtain of hydrodynamically imperfect type is constructed as a vertical injection sealing curtain. The well depth for injection is correlated with the increase of depth. When injecting wells also depending on exponential reduction of water penetration capacity of formations to be fixed not less than two injection intervals are singled out in vertical direction, within which fixers with viscosity correlated with mean water penetration capacity of the relevant interval are used.

EFFECT: reduction of the depth of injection wells and the scope of drilling works, prevention of pollution of water bodies by petroleum products, more reliable sealing of fractured formations.
