FIELD: explosive works.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to facilities of initiation of charges of industrial explosives. Intermediate detonator contains cylindrical casing that is arranged with tailpiece, cover that is provided with seat for detonating cap and is installed with the possibility of fixation at the casing end, which is opposite to tailpiece, and explosive charge that is installed in casing. Internal surface of casing is conjugated with internal surface of tailpiece along with conical surface. Casing tailpiece is arranged with open end and equipped with diaphragm that is bent inside casing and that divides tailpiece into two parts. Cover is made with thickened walls in the field of its fixation at the casing and transfer to seat. There are two longitudinal bulges on seat internal surface for fixation of detonating cap with displacement in respect to seat central axis and provision of detonating cap contact with seat surface. Charge of explosive is made of loose explosive material and is installed in casing between cover and diaphragm with density that is more than the apparent density by 1-25%.

EFFECT: increase of receptivity to initiation facilities, reliability of intermediate detonator initiation and efficiency of its initiating action.
