FIELD: blast initiators designed for initiation of deep-hole, blast-hole and other charges of low-sensitive industrial explosives at blasting in all climatic regions of Russia and the CIS countries.

SUBSTANCE: the means of initiation are disposed in longitudinal lateral slots of the polymeric case or in longitudinal lateral slots and annular grooves of the polymeric case. The thin-walled polymeric cylinder is made with rounded-off edges in the bottom part getting onto the bottom part of the polymeric case. The diameter of the hemisphere of the bosses of the thin-walled polymeric cylinder equals half the height of the lower annular groove of the polymeric case, and they in pairs are shifted to half the height of the lower annular groove so that the longitudinal slots of the thin-walled polymeric cylinder enter the longitudinal lateral slots of the polymeric body and press the means of initiation against the polymeric case over their entire length, molding or grain, or hydrogen containing explosives are used as explosives. For blast initiator 2-the height of the polymeric case of the intermediate detonator from the cover to the upper annular groove makes up 0.3 to 0.6 of the overall height of the polymeric case. The cover of the polymeric case is made with lugs, whose diameter of the described circumference is larger than the diameter of the rising hole, and with a branch pipe whose outside diameter corresponds to the diameter of the charging hose. The polymeric thin-walled cylinder and the lower part of the polymeric case from the upper annular groove are similar to modification 1.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of blasting due to enhanced reliability and safety of initiation of low-sensitive industrial explosives of hole and well charges, expanded source of raw materials for production of detonating blocks and fields of their use.
