FIELD: oil and gas.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of paraffines and asphaltenes in oil. The substance of the invention is as follows: three samples of raw oil are taken, two samples are dissolved in a solvent and asphaltenes are extracted from one of the samples treated by the solvent. For all the three samples free induction decay curves are measured by the nuclear magnetic resonance method and ratio of hydrogenous solid-state fractions weighed in oil and hydrogenous liquid fractions is determined. The content of paraffines is evaluated by the content of hydrogenous solid-state fractions in the sample treated by the solvent with asphaltenes extracted; the concentration of asphaltenes is evaluated by the content of hydrogenous solid-state fractions in the other sample treated by the solvent taking into account concentration of paraffines determined; paraffines and asphaltenes content in initial oil is evaluated by paraffines and asphaltenes ratio determined in hydrogenous solid-state fractions.
EFFECT: simple and effective method of determination of paraffines and asphaltenes concentrations in oil, which can be used both in laboratory conditions and directly in the well in the real time mode.
