SUBSTANCE: in the method and system of thermal connection and disconnection of components for surface mounting (CfSM) (10) there is planar heater (14), which generates heat from electric current. The resistance of the heater varies with its temperature, and this resistance is used for determining the temperature of the heater and (CfSM). There is a device for locking CfSM such that, the input and output contacts of the device are heated due to heat conductivity from the above mentioned planar heater through the sidewalls of CfSM and/or along these walls. Electric current is supplied to the planar heater (14) such that, heat is generated, sufficient for connection/disconnection of the above mentioned input and output contacts to "ПП" (12) or from it. Description is given of several devices for locking CfSM, including vacuum, mechanical, gluing and magnetic devices. Description is also given of a method for using the heating element for heating the substrate, on which CfSM could be mounted.

EFFECT: locking, heating, control of resistance and measuring of CfSM temperature takes place at the same time.
