FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: olfactometer relates to medical technology. Olfactometer has a vessel with odorous material and tube which has tip for snuff. Olfactometer has forced-draught fan which is placed in a branching pipe, in which a rotating valve with scale and finger is also placed. The rotating valve covers a half of the branching pipe. The branching pipe is divided in two halves beyond a baffle plate, which goes along axial axis. The equal tubes are attached to each halve of the branching pipe, they hermetically go into the pluggable vessels, in which cuvettes with odorous material are placed, and the tubes going from the vessels are joined before the tip. The device application allows determination of olfactory acuity with enhanced accuracy.
EFFECT: accuracy increase of olfactory acuity determination.
