FIELD: medicine; treatment of olfaction disorders. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on effecting pupillography using apparatus APK-01. Registration of pupillary reaction to light flash is effected contactlessly, after olfactory stimulation. Value thus-registered is compared with background level value (i.e. without olfactory stimulation). EFFECT: method provides objective basic data for diagnosing hypo- and anosmia cases; olfaction disorders can be assessed both qualitatively and quantitatively. 2 tbl
