METHOD OF DISINFECTION OF CONSUMER PACKAGE WITH ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION MADE OF POLYMER MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC B65B55/10 A61L2/00

Abstract RU 2333871 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of disinfection of package made of polymer material, and may be used in dairy industry. Method includes radiation of consumer package with visible and infrared radiation. Radiation is performed with continuous spectrum of radiation, which contains visible, ultraviolet and infrared radiations. Surface dose of visible radiation makes from 540 to 1,525 mJ/cm2, ultraviolet radiation from 18 to 64 mJ/cm2 and infrared radiation from 47 to 57 mJ/cm2. Percentage of visible radiation to ultraviolet radiation and infrared radiation makes 89-3-8 and up to 93-4-3. Duration of continuous radiation spectrum pulse effect onto treated surface makes 700 microsecond. Pulse capacity of radiation that is supplied to the surface of processed polymer package amounts to 0.9-1.8 KW/cm2.

EFFECT: maximum disinfection of package.
