FIELD: pipeline transportation.
SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing the liquid with an inert gas until its saturation relevant to the temperature and the pressure of the liquid with the formation of a gas boundary layer at the pipe wall. Furthermore, the liquid is separated into two flows: boundary flow and main flow, while the gas boundary layer is formed at the pipeline inlet in two stages. During the first stage it is formed along with the liquid boundary flow, where the consumption and the thickness of boundary layers of both liquid and gas are respectively equal. During the second stage the gas-liquid boundary layer is merged with the main flow in such a way that the ratio of gas consumption to gas consumption during the liquid's saturation is q/q“н”=1,1÷1,3, where q and q“н” are the gas consumption before entering the pipeline and gas consumption relevant to the liquid's saturation by the said gas with relevant temperature and pressure inside the pipeline, respectively.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption during liquid transportation.
