FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves rolling of sheets with given chemical composition and thickness at rolling end temperature Tre. Non-defective product output of rolling steel with thickness of 30...50 mm and carbon equivalent Ce=C+Si/3+Mn/9, where C, Si and Mn is carbon, silicon and magnesium content, mass %, in the steel respectively, and Ce≥0.5%, is improved due to raising ready sheet thickness H and Tre as Ce increases, according to relations: H=30(2Ce)7, mm, and where To is rolling end temperature for thinnest sheets, °C, with Tre value lowered as sheet width increases.
EFFECT: reduced production cost of sheet steel rolling.
