FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in steel rolling until final thickness h with preset temperature of rolling end Tkn and sheets cooling. Increase of mill efficiency and uniformity of product mechanical properties is provided due to the fact that in rolling of "О9Г2С" steel with thickness of h=50...160 mm, temperature is accepted as Tkn=850°...930°C, increasing this temperature in foresaid limits with increase of h, and accelerated cooling of sheets is carried out under descaling at low speeds of their transportation until temperature of metal surface is in interval of 680°...730°C, at that difference of temperatures of sheet end sections and its middle part is provided as not more than 35°C.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of mill and better quality of rolled sheet.
