FIELD: technological processes; engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: at least two narrowing areas are obtained of material with required dimensions, areas for thread cutting are defined. Further material stamping is performed to form at least one slit in thread areas, at least one notch and hooking end in each narrowing area, screw thread coils of given size in the thread areas, at least 1° bend in the narrowing areas, thread with U-shaped cross cut profile forming, additional area bending for thread cutting with a cross-section close to circle, cutting of excess temporary binding material band to complete manufacturing of expanding carrier sleeve. Expanding carrier sleeve includes cylindrical case forming a hole with internal thread, narrowing alongside with the hole in direction from rear to front end and containing at least one hooking end protruding from the outer surface of narrowed cylindrical case part, and locking notched areas in given locations on the outer case surface.

EFFECT: reduced production cost and improved sleeve quality.
