FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: cutting multi-facet plate has facets made in form of blades of various shaped blades corresponding to pass-through, thrust, slotting, recessing, thread reproducing and shaped cutters. Blades tops are located at equal distance from plate center, and blades bases are smoothly conjugated one with another by arcs. Angle at pass-through blade vertex in plane can be equal to 90°. Blade shaped according to thrust cutter can be made twin-peaked with left and right symmetrical profiles with at corresponding vertex. Blade in form of slotting cutter can have cutting edge along arc of circle. Shaped blade can be made according to bearing ring chute profile. Thread reproducing blade can be located between slotting and recessing blades.
EFFECT: such design enhanced performances, allows to perform various transitions during external turning and boring, reduces number of special cutters and increases processing efficiency.
