FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: aerator incorporates annular casing 1 with its inner and outer walls furnished with L-shape annular ledges 2 and lower part annular collars with a number of slots. The aerator is provided also with perforated flexible diaphragm 4 having inner and outer sealing collars at the points in register with the casing inner and outer walls. Every aforesaid collar is furnished with an inner annular L-shape slot in register with L-shape annular ledge 2 of casing 1 and a number of locking flexible tenons, directed inward and provided with end bulges, aligned with and matching the slots in the casing annular collars. The aerator incorporates also air feed branch pipes 17 with clamping bracket 14, rubber taper bushes 15 and retainers 16 for attachment to air feed pipes 18. Rigid tenons are arranged coaxially with and opposite to the aforesaid locking tenons, the former having the height at which Δ = (a + b) - s with Δ ≥ 0.5 mm, where Δ is a value of the rigid tenon height exceeds that of the bulge, a is a locking bulge height, b is a rigid tenon height, s is a distance between annular collars with slots.

EFFECT: higher tightness and reliability of attachment of diaphragm to aerator and of that of aerator to air feed pipes.
