FIELD: biological purification of sewage. SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to a biological purification of sewage, in particular, to devices for pneumatic aeration. The aeration system of sewage contains at least one unit having an air-feeding pipe connected to a supply manifold, the air- transferring pipes with mounted on them coaxially or in cantilever aerators and linked with the supply manifold. Each aerator has a body with a branch-pipe and beads in the heel, at least one unit fastening the aerator to the air-transferring pipes, and the dispersing diaphragm, which may be either a solid one without perforation along its center, or with a central aperture, at that the diameter of the non-perforated zone or the central aperture makes 80-220 mm. The dispersing diaphragm is fastened to the body on concentric rounds through each 60-200 mm. EFFECT: increased productivity of aerators at keeping high performance of transmission of oxygen, decreased quantity of elements and the scope of installation works. 10 cl, 16 dwg, 1 tbl
