FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to improved method of allobetuline (19, 28-epoxyoleanan-3-ol) of (1)-pentacyclic triterpenoid oleanan chain possessing expressed antiviral activity and being of great concern for chemical pharmaceutical industry. Assigned task is solved as allobetuline is made directly of birch bark combinating stages of betulinole extraction from bark with hexane and betulinole isomerisation to allobetuline with orthophosphoric acid. Method simplifies allobetuline production technology improving the product.
EFFECT: simplification of allobetuline production technology improving the product.
