FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns reception of medicinal, veterinary, cosmetic preparations, and also food industry and agriculture. Extraction of the bark by water is performed at a parity of raw materials-water 1-15÷20 at temperature of 95-100°C with formation of a concentrate of water-soluble substances and extraction using an organic dissolvent with betulinol formation. Thus crushed birch bark is at first extracted using a non-polar organic dissolvent. After stripping of the dissolvent, the dry residue is processed using a 20% alkali aqueous solution with betulinol formation, and then the bark remainder is extracted in water within 1.5-2.0 hours; the aqueous solution is concentrated to 1/3 of initial volume, saturated with sodium chloride and a formed residue is separated using filtering, the filtrate is extracted three times using ethyl acetate and concentrated to 1/7 of initial volume, diluted with chloroform, proanthocyanidins are separated. The invention allows to realise the specified appointment.
EFFECT: reception of biologically active substances from birch bark.
