FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and can be used to predict development of intrauterine fetus hypoxia. Method consists in that in the third trimester of pregnancy and before labour pool of free amino acids is determined in venous blood of pregnant women. On condition that hyperaminoacidemia is detected, index of ratio of essential amino acids to non-essential amino acids is calculated. If value of this index is 0.5 or less, development of intrauterine hypoxia in system 'mother-placenta-fetus' on the background of metabolic disorders of pregnant woman is predicted. Application of the method allows increasing accuracy of predicting development of intrauterine fetus hypoxia, which provides opportunity to carry out medication prophylaxis and treatment of hypoxic states of fetus in proper time.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of predicting development of intrauterine fetus hypoxia.
