FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely surgery, and is intended for treatment of atresia of esophagus tracheoesophageal fistula in newborns. Essence of invention is in its temporary obturation, during which gastrotomy and installation of obturator are performed. Flexible string is driven in retrograde way through stomach, tracheoesophageal fistula, trachea, oral cavity outside through gastrostome. To upper end of string, ribbon with obturator from foam-polyurethane is tied, and obturator is installed into lumen of tracheoesophageal fistula by caudal traction of string with ribbon through gastrostome. Tube for early feeding and control of air loss is inserted into stomach.
EFFECT: ensuring optimal fistula obturation, prevention of stomach reflex and air loss in treatment of atresia of esophagus tracheoesophageal fistula in newborns.
