FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: case of device includes three chambers, end ones of which are filled with fire extinguishing powder, while middle one contains partition dividing it in two cavities. A gas generator is fixed coaxial to the case in the partition; the said generator through nozzles discharges gas not supporting burning to free volumes of both cavities. The generator includes two mechanisms of initiation, each of those contains a capsule and a firing-pin blocked with a spring. Via a rod a tail of the firing pin is coupled with a receiving component sensing excessive pressure of an explosive wave. Interior impenetrable flexible and movable partitions are arranged between the middle and end chambers to form free volumes in cavities before powder and to provide a concentrated circuitry of gas supply. Exterior impenetrable flexible and movable partitions are installed on end outputs.

EFFECT: upgraded level of safety of mine excavations and upgraded efficiency of active generation of dust cloud out of fire extinguishing powder; simplification of process maintenance and reduction of operation costs.
