FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the mining industry, in particular to the technology and technical means of protecting production and other personnel, located in underground mining workings, equipment, located in them and the underground mine workings themselves, from explosions of mixtures of mine gas or (and) coal dust (dust and gas mixtures) contained in the atmosphere of coal mines. Technical tasks, the solution of which is directed to the present invention in the part of the explosive localization system, is to increase the reliability of localization and suppression of explosions of dust and gas mixtures in underground mine workings, increase the reliability of the system by reducing and simplifying its technical elements, as well as the special order of their placement in the mine workings, the attachment of the operation of the system to specific parameters of the shock waves and (or) the radiation of the flame front (flare), formed during explosions (flashes) of dust and gas mixtures in underground mine workings. In particular, a multifunctional automatic system for localization of explosions of dust and gas mixtures in underground mine workings containing a group of sensors for the state of the mine atmosphere, consisting of sensors that respond to the parameters of the explosion and flare (shock air wave and the emission of methane ignition), and explosive localization devices. In this case, the explosion localization device is made in the form of an automatic device that forms in the mine atmosphere an explosion-suppressing cloud from an effective fire extinguishing powder with the energy of compressed high pressure gas at the signal from the sensor or dispatcher. For the protection of long mine workings, tunneling or cleaning faces, at least two shockwave sensors are installed on either side of each device localization of the explosion, and one or more methane ignition detection sensors are installed to protect the locations of electrical equipment or other potential sources of thermal impulses. In extended mine workings, shock wave sensors are installed at a distance of 10 to 100 m from each explosion localization device, and the distance between adjacent explosion localization devices should not be more than 300 m. In preparatory workings and cleaning faces shock wave sensors are installed at a distance of 10 to 100 m from each explosion localization device and at a distance of 10–30 m from the face. Methane ignition detection sensors are installed at a distance of 10 m to 30 m from each explosion localization device and at a distance of 1–10 m from the electrical equipment.
EFFECT: protection against explosions of mixtures of mine gas or (and) coal dust (dust and gas mixtures) contained in the atmosphere of coal mines.
