FIELD: technological processes; construction.
SUBSTANCE: frame equipped with sieves and vibrator is installed on trench edges above pipeline covered with thin layer of soft earth. Frame dimensions correspond to trench width. Sieves are divided into zone with slotted cells that are symmetrically installed in relation to central zone that corresponds to pipeline diameter. Two side zones from central zone to trench walls are equipped with cells that correspond to the largest permissible size of major inclusions. Earth from excavator bucket is dropped into central zone, and vibrator is switched on. Soil is graded in accordance with sizes of fractions, at that fine fractions of soil are sifted on pipeline in central zone. Large fractions (from 100 mm to 300 mm) drop through slotted cells closer to trench slopes, filling trench between trench slopes and pipeline. Blocky soil with size of more than 300 mm rolls down by gravity to trench borders.
EFFECT: increase of pipeline reliability.
