SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in various sectors of the economy, where soil is loaded into trucks, for example, in the coal industry in the development of quarries. Methods for loading rock into dragline transport include creating a platform for placing a dragline and transport for loading at the same level or a level above the loading level, determining the width of the working platform for dragline operation and the location of the transport for loading. According to the radius of the dragline, an orienting shaft is formed from the soil, the height of which is determined by the formula: НB=2/3DW ± KS, where NB is the height of the orienting shaft, DW is the diameter of the transport wheel for loading, KS is the coefficient of soil flowability, where KS=300 mm for large fractions of rocky soil and KS=70 mm for loose soils.
EFFECT: increased safety of soil loading, avoiding damage to vehicles during loading by a walking dragline excavator.
