FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: sheet heat-insulating material contains insulating elements of prolonged shape made of elastostrained fiber material, connected between each other and contained in cladding that covers side surfaces of prolonged elements and consists of two flexible sheets, one of which forms side surfaces of prolonged elements that are opposite to surfaces that face insulated object, and the other forms remaining side surfaces of prolonged elements, at that prolonged elements are formed with corrugations of sheet elastostrained fiber material, and flexible sheets that form cladding are fixed to each other and to corrugated material with staples.
EFFECT: simplification of insulation design; technologies of its production and installation.
