SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to the field of thermal insulation of pipelines, namely to thermal insulation mats, such as lamellar thermal insulation mats. The technical task is to create a means for isolating pipelines with a high degree of installation readiness. The thermal insulation mat includes a flexible shell on which flexible fastening strips and a thermal insulation layer are placed and fixed on its inner side. Flexible fastening strips are located between the thermal insulation layer and the shell, which are also interconnected.

EFFECT: increase in the speed of insulation of pipelines without the use of additionally supplied fasteners, reliable fastening of fastening tapes, an increase in the density of the thermal insulation layer of the mat to the surface of the pipeline, an improvement in the density of the junction of the end sides of the thermal insulation layer, the hidden location of the fastening strips and their protection from external influences and corrosion.
