FIELD: medical equipment; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in medical technology - autotranfusion of ultraviolet irradiated blood (AUVIB). Applicator contains board with fixed therapeutic block. The therapeutic block consists of ultra-violet radiation gas-discharge source with starter and inductive ballast and disposable blood reception and irradiation system containing cells, puncture needle, flexible tubes and blood reservoir. Blood reservoir can be established above or below of vein puncturing point. The therapeutic block additionally contains operating panel and microcontroller (MC), UFI photosensor connected to input of specialised analog-to-digital converter, control and switching units.
EFFECT: extended performance of animal treatment device.
