FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to control of process or regulation of process at installations for metal plastic working and thermal treatment. For formation of preset structure and certain properties of metal method includes regulation of working parameters with the help of actuating elements, application of process model and structure model, by which after registration of specific parameters on the basis of online calculation corresponding values of control and/or regulation process are determined for effect at actuating elements, at that at least one actual parameter that characterises metal structure is registered in the end or during process as measured online value, and depending on its value in application of structure model, and also process model, actuating element of installation is affected for obtainment of desired properties of metal structure, at that one of the following values is determined as the actual parameter of structure: value of structure grains, which is determined preferably with the help of ultrasonic or X-ray devices, moment of structure transformation or time gap of structure transformation, which are determined by registration of metal longitudinal extension related to transformation with the help of measuring devices that contact with metal, such as instruments for measurement of squeezing force or measurement rollers, temperature of structure transformation, which is determined with the help of at least temperature measurement, which is positioned depending on expected place of structure transformation according to structure model.

EFFECT: creation of efficient method for process control at installations for metal plastic working and thermal treatment.
