FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method of hot rolling of metal strip (1) or metal sheet and to hot rolling mill (2) for hot rolling of metal strip or metal sheet (1). Flat workpiece is formed in hot rolling mill (2) for creating of homogeneous, small-grain, recrystallised austenitic structure. Between at least two rolling mills (3, 4, 5, 6) of hot rolling mill (2) the flat workpiece or the strip or the sheet respectively (1) are heated. Then the flat workpiece or the strip or the sheet (1) are cooled for creation of small-grain structure. Hot rolling mill (2) includes at least two rolling-directed (W) rolling mills (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) one after another. In rolling mills in each case the flat workpiece or the strip or the sheet (1) may be formed, in particular, for implementation of the method. Between at least two of at least two rolling mills (3, 4, 5, 6) there located is a heating device (8, 9, 10) for heating of rolled material.
EFFECT: improving the structure and mechanical properties of ready steel strip or steel sheet.
