FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to iron and steel metallurgy, particularly to ferroalloy production. The alloy contains the following ingredients, wt %: iron 5.0-50.0, silicon 5.0-15.0, aluminium 40.0-60.0, carbon, manganese, chromium and titanium 8.0-10.0, sulphur, phosphorus 0.05-0.10, copper, zinc, tin, lead, antimony, bismuth and arsenic 5.0-8.0; at that the alloy contains successive row of triple stable intermetals on base of aluminium, containing iron and silicon at a following ratio of ingredients, wt %: Fe:Si:Al=(2-4):1:(4-6)%. Thus there is achieved efficiency of liquid steel treatment at oxidation and chemical plugging of liquid steel with alloy for oxidation and chemical plugging of liquid steel due to optimisation of alloy composition.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of liquid steel treatment at oxidation and chemical plugging of liquid steel with alloy for oxidation and chemical plugging of liquid steel.
