SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, namely: to the hand grenade launchers anti-personnel particle grenades. Beam grenade has a warhead. It consists of an axial rod and several longitudinal throwing blocks. These blocks are articulated to the rod front part and form a hollow cylinder in the cross section, encompassing the axial rod. Blocks are connected with umbrella mechanism of blocks rotation in position perpendicular to rod axis. Projectile block features cross-section shaped to incomplete sector. It contains an explosive charge and a layer of ready damaging elements on the block outer surface. Detonator is installed in the front part of the unit. It is made with possibility of connection with trajectory-impact fuse. Radius of external cylindrical surface of the block can be expanded compared to radius of the grenade shell. Trajectory-impact fuse includes a switch for three types of action - opening of the warhead and trajectory detonation, trajectory detonation without opening, percussive detonation without opening. Grenade rear end accommodates solid-propellant rocket engine and unfolding stabilizers. According to the invention, the axial rod is made of at least two parts connected to each other with the possibility of undocking. One part of propellant blocks - the first part - is located on the first part of the axial rod. Second part of propellant blocks is located on the second part of the axial rod with possibility of continuation of movement of this part of throwing units under the action of the rocket engine after separation of the first part of throwing blocks.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of beam grenade.
