FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, namely: to the hand grenade launchers anti-personnel particle grenades. Particle grenade contains a warhead consisting of an axial rod and several longitudinal projectile blocks. These blocks are articulated to the rod front part and form a hollow cylinder in the cross section, encompassing the axial rod. At that, the blocks are connected to the umbrella mechanism of their rotation into the position perpendicular to the rod axis. Axial rod is made of at least two parts. They are connected to each other with the possibility of undocking. One part of the projectile blocks is located on the axial rod first part. Projectile blocks second part is located on the axial rod second part. Each longitudinal projectile block is made of two articulated parts. They are configured to change their position relative to each other and to the axial rod.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the grenade damaging effect effectiveness.
