FIELD: physics, alarm system.

SUBSTANCE: detector consists of two optical lines, where radiation resource optically connected with a photoelectric receptor through optical channels; meanwhile the optical channels are located in the protected space. Outputs of the photoelectric receptors are electrically connected with inputs of comparator generating signals "gas", and it is also connected with informative inputs of comparing unit generating signals "fire" and "smoke". The detection method of combustion gas products on preferential absorption of electromagnetic emission by gases is used in the detector. Emission with the wave length, which is the same as the wave length of control gas absorption is conducted through one channel, and emission with the wave length passing through control gas without absorption is conducted through the other channel.

EFFECT: development of detector, which has high information content and responses to smoke as well as to gases appeared at early stage of fire and during burning process.
