FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for through-skin noninvasive measurement of bilirubin content in under-skin tissues and blood of patients, especially of new born ones. Device has two light sources made in form of first and second light-emitting diodes. Outputs of first and second light-emitting diodes are optically connected with first and second transmitting light guides correspondingly. Inputs of light-emitting diodes are connected with first and second outputs of signal processing unit made in form of microprocessor. The latter is provided with supply unit and monitor onto which monitor the data of measurements are displayed. Device also has receiving light guide; photo-electric conversion unit is disposed onto optical axis of the light guide. Photo-electric conversion unit has two channels. Each channel has first interference filter and first photo-receiver correspondingly and second interference filter and second photo-receiver connected optically. Outputs of first and second photo-receivers are connected with first and second inputs of analog-to-digital converter which has output connected with input of microprocessor.
EFFECT: increased speed of measurements; reduced sizes; ease at exploitation.
