FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing proton-conducting polymer membranes and can be used in hydrogen power engineering and in production of hard-polymer fuel elements. Method of producing membranes includes modification of films from polybenzimidazols by hydrated acid zirconium oxide, or hydrated silicon oxide. Then doping of these films with orthophosphoric acid is performed. Proton-conductivity of polymer membranes reaches 10-3 m/cm at room temperature, and increases to 10-1 m/cm at temperature 160°C.
EFFECT: elaboration of method of producing polymer membranes with higher proton-conductivity.
