FIELD: fuels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel briquettes. Proposed is a composition for producing a water-resistant fuel briquette, containing a fine-grained carbon-containing material of mineral origin, molasses and a filtration residue of sugar beet production as a binder, characterised by additionally containing still bottoms from distillation of natural fatty acids with the following ratio of components, % wt.: molasses 2.9 to 3.8, filtration residue 0.43 to 0.95, still bottoms from distillation of natural fatty acids 1.6 to 2.7, fine-grained carbon-containing material of mineral origin the rest.
EFFECT: production of fuel briquettes with high values of process characteristics, retaining the strength in long-term storage and transportation due to the water resistance of the briquette being increased to 0.05–0.07, and reduction in the electricity consumption due to the at least 2.5-fold reduction in the mixing time.
