FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electrical engineering and may be used in electric drives of industrial mechanisms, for instance, pumps, conveyors, fans, etc. Asynchronous electric drive contains asynchronous electric motor with phase-wound rotor, thyristor switchboard in stator circuit, to the first control inlet of which current regulator outlet is connected, and to the second control inlet - outlet of rotor position sensor, which is mechanically connected to the shaft of asynchronous motor. The first control inlet of current regulator is connected to the source of master voltage proportional to desired current of stator, and the second one is connected to the outlet of current sensor outlet. The second thyristor switchboard is introduced in the circuit, which is connected to supplying multi-phase circuit of alternating current. Winding of asynchronous motor rotor is connected between cathode and anode groups of this switchboard. Depending on signal from motor rotor position sensor control pulses are sent to two thyristors of those two phases of asynchronous motor stator, phase zone of which is crossed by magnet axis of rotor winding.
EFFECT: increase of electric drive efficiency and improvement of its control characteristics.
