In each iteration, bit safety and recovered code word based on comparison involving threshold updated for this iteration are updated. Invention embodiment versions involve methods of decoding and/or relevant coding and device using threshold taking two or more values during iterative coding.
EFFECT: accuracy and good response at lower iteration number.
